About this product
Most wardrobe fresheners on the market are naphthalene mothballs — the white balls that work by releasing pesticide vapour into your closed cupboard, which is also exactly why they smell the way they do. Our beeswax sachets do the same job — keeping moths and silverfish away while your clothes smell genuinely good — without any of that.
What's actually in each sachet. Pure beeswax, 45g per sachet, infused with your choice of natural essential oils or fragrance oils, along with dried flowers pressed into the wax itself — not just decoration, but part of what gives each piece its texture and slow-release character.
How long the scent lasts. Each sachet holds its fragrance for roughly 1-2 months of regular use in a closed space, though many customers tell us theirs lasted noticeably longer. Once the scent fades, you can warm the sachet gently — a few minutes in a sunny window, or briefly in a closed car on a warm day — to refresh the fragrance rather than throwing it away. Beeswax doesn't degrade the way naphthalene does; it simply needs occasional reactivation.
Where to use it. Hang or place in a wardrobe, a drawer, a linen cabinet, or anywhere clothes sit closed up for long stretches. The scent works best in an enclosed space rather than an open room, since that's where the fragrance has room to concentrate rather than dissipate.
Scent sets available. Choose from Jasmine, Rose & Lemongrass, or Jasmine, Lemongrass & Sandalwood — sets of 3, so you can use one in each of your main storage spaces, or layer multiple scents in the same wardrobe for a more complex fragrance.
Why beeswax instead of synthetic wax. Beeswax is naturally antibacterial and holds fragrance oil more slowly and evenly than synthetic waxes, which means a more gradual scent release rather than a sharp burst that fades quickly. It's also fully natural — nothing here is a petroleum byproduct, unlike the paraffin used in a lot of mass-market wax products.
