A small amount goes a long way with essential oils — these are concentrated plant extracts, not ready-to-use blends, and they're most often used a few drops at a time.

The six scents. Lavender, Rose, Citronella, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, and Lemongrass — each 10ml, sold individually so you can build your own collection one scent at a time.

Using it in a diffuser. This is the simplest and safest way to enjoy these oils — a few drops in an ultrasonic diffuser or a reed diffuser's carrier base fills a room with fragrance without any direct skin contact at all.

Using it for massage or skincare. Essential oils are highly concentrated and should always be diluted in a carrier oil — coconut, almond, or jojoba oil are common choices — before any skin contact. A general starting guideline is 2-3 drops of essential oil per teaspoon of carrier oil, though sensitivity varies from person to person, so it's worth doing a small patch test on your inner arm before wider use, especially the first time you try a new oil. Never apply any essential oil directly to skin undiluted.

A few it's worth being extra careful with. Citronella in particular is a strong oil best kept diluted and away from direct skin contact for extended periods — it's more commonly used in diffusers or outdoor settings than in massage blends. If you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have sensitive skin, it's worth checking with a doctor before using any essential oil topically, including ours.

A note on "therapeutic grade." This phrase gets used a lot in the essential oil industry, but there's no official certifying body or universal standard behind it — it's a marketing term, not a regulated classification. What we can tell you concretely: our oils are pure, undiluted, and sourced for fragrance and aromatherapy use.
